Running on a local computer. Yes I did upgrade to 1.1 .NET. Not using Remote Desktop. Yes user rights are configured. User has Admin rights. This was happening on Windows 2000 Professional, not server. I did find out the database file was marked as read-only and I removed the RO attributes. I run a Linux Server. I did move the datafile to my Linux box after the errors stopped. This is where my QB Pro data is located and am accessing everything without a hitch now. I have read QB has to be on a Windows server but this is working great. I dislike Windows Servers so I am determined to make things work on other OS's other than Windows if possible.
